In most of countries work days is Monday to Friday and weekend included Saturday and Sunday. But Saudi Arabia and other Middle East counties official work days from Sunday to Thursday. By default in Microsoft Office Outlook, the work week is set from Monday through Friday with a work day extending from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M..

Well how to change default settings of outlook work week and work time automatically to all users ?

By using customized group policy ADM templates can be set work week for example from “ Sunday until Thursday ”

Here is the step by step of customizing outlook work week and work time using Group Policy

1) In Group Policy Object Editor, right-click Administrative Templates in the Computer Configuration or User Configuration node and then select Add/Remove Templates

2) A list of the Administrative Template files that are already added to the GPO is displayed.

3) To add another Administrative Template file, click Add, and then browse to the location where you have saved the outlook Administrative Template files.

Note: Please send an email to Seneej@gmail.com or comment to this post if you require outlook ADM template to customize week days and work time

4) Then click on close once added.

5) Browse to below location : Administrative templates — > Classic administrative templates — > Microsoft Outlook 2010 — > Outlook options — > Preferences — > double click Calendar options — > then on the right hand side enable the option for work week and working hours.

6) In work week select the option Sunday to Thursday
