How to change expired email password in OWA & How to login to OWA with enabled User must change password at next logon

Microsoft Exchange 2010 SP1 has a feature that will allow users with expired passwords to change their password. This also works for users who have their accounts configured to change password on next logon (User must change password at next logon in ADUC).

Changing the register setting on CAS servers which Enable above features.Here is the steps
1. Start Registry Editor (regedit).
2. Locate the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchange OWA.
3. Create the following DWORD value if it doesn’t already exist: ChangeExpiredPasswordEnabled. The value type will be REG_DWORD.
4. Set the value of ChangeExpiredPasswordEnabled to 1.
5. Exit Registry Editor

EMC storage discovery in SCVMM 2012 SP1

This topic describe adding EMC VNX 5300 in VVM for the activation of storage automation features.EMC provides its own SMI-S provider for SCVMM 2012 SP1. To configure SCVMM to discover the EMC storage systems, perform the following key steps

Step 1: Download the EMC® SMI-S Provider V4.5.1from EMC power link or support site

SMI-S provider defines the open storage management interface that enables the interoperability of multiple vendor’s storage management technologies. These technologies are used to monitor and control storage resources in multivendor or SAN topologies

Step 2 : Install the EMC SMI-S Provider Solutions Enabler with SMI-S which you download in step 1

Follow video which describes each required steps in detail for EMC SMI-S provider installtion and post installations tasks

Step 3 : Add & Classify Storage devices to SCVMM

Open the Fabric workspace.

In the Fabric pane, click Storage.

On the Home tab, click Add Resources, and then click Storage Devices to start the Add Storage Devices Wizard.

On the Select Provider Type page, Select Add a storage device that is managed by an SMI-S provider to specify and discover a EMC VNX 5300 and click Next

In the Protocol list, select SMI-S CIMXML

In the Provider IP address or FQDN box, enter the IP address or the FQDN of the SMI-S provider ( Refer step2 )

Next to the Run As account box,. click Browse, and then in the Select a Run As Account dialog box, click Create Run As Account which set in step 2 and click Next

On the Gather Information page, VMM automatically tries to discover and import the storage device information. To retry discovery, click Scan Provider

On the Select Storage Devices page, do the following for each storage pool that requires a classification:

Select the check box next to a storage pool that you want VMM to manage.

In the Classification column, select the storage classification that you want to assign.

On the Summary page, confirm the settings, and then click Finish.
